Thoughts and musings from a 40-something guy living in the idyllic suburb of Brentford, in West London.

Lots of things excite my interest. Astronomy, photography, meteorites, technology, languages, music and gadgets. I used to do software development (I was actually pretty good at it, once in the day) but now work as a technology manager.

Oh, and macak? (It’s pronounced “MAH-chak”, by the way…) I’m soft for cats and Mrs VM is from Zagreb. ‘Veliki Macak’ is Croatian for ‘big cat’. Nothing more heavy or serious than that
